Do we use cookies?
Our platform uses functional cookies to:
● Analyze how videos are viewed within our platform to provide insights into video performance.
● Ensure you remain logged in across sessions.
Data Collection via Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure the performance of videos on our platform. Google Analytics helps us obtain detailed statistics about video viewing behavior. This data is used solely for functional purposes and to provide our users with relevant information.
Security Measures
To ensure the security and privacy of data collected via Google Analytics, we have implemented several measures:
1. Limitation of Data Storage: We have set the retention period for user and event data to the minimum necessary for analytical purposes. After this period, the data is automatically deleted.
2. Anonymization of IP Addresses: We use IP anonymization in Google Analytics. This means that the last digits of the users' IP addresses are removed before being stored by Google, ensuring that users' identities cannot be traced.
3. Encryption and Security: All data transmitted via Google Analytics is encrypted. Additionally, we employ robust security protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the data.
4. IP Data Handling: IP data is only used for geo-location and immediately discarded prior to forwarding to Analytics storage. For EU-based traffic, IP data is discarded from all Google logs and cannot be accessed or used for any additional use cases.
5. EU Traffic Routing: Traffic from EU-based visitors (based on IP geo lookup) is routed to EU-based collection servers for data filtering.
Third-Party Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal data to third parties and will only make it available if this is necessary to comply with any legal obligation. User accounts will only be shared with the company that the user is a part of. Videos are hosted by Vimeo as described here under.
International Data Transfers
If we transfer your personal data outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), we will ensure that it is protected and transferred in a manner consistent with legal requirements based on adequacy decisions of the European Commission.
Video Hosting
We use Vimeo to host and stream our video content. To prioritize your privacy, we have configured our video embeds to always include the "Do Not Track" (DNT) parameter. This means Vimeo will not collect any analytical data from your visits. We are dedicated to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring that our use of Vimeo aligns with our privacy standards. By accessing our site, you agree to our use of Vimeo in this manner. For more information about Vimeo's data handling practices, please refer to Vimeo's Privacy Policy.
